November 12th and 13th!
GOAL: $25,000

So much more than a fundraiser…

Carillon Elementary PTA is once again hosting our own Comet Challenge!

Instead of hosting a large run during school hours, we will be giving each child that REGISTERS their very own pedometer! Each student can then track how active they are! You will be tracking how much exercising, biking, jumping and running our students do!   You as the parent will have access to your student's page where you can update their minutes of exercise!

The website tracks targets and PTA will continue to give out fun prices for reaching certain goals!  We will be on the Carillon News and we will do smaller pep rallies and highlight our top fundraisers and exercisers!!

This event will bring our entire school community together for fun, fitness, and fundraising. Every Carillon student joins in on the fun!  All students and staff receive a commemorative Comet Challenge Orbit t-shirt to wear during the week and these shirts become the go-to shirt for field trips, orbit spirit days, orbit parties and more for the remainder of the year.

We are hosting the Comet Challenge along with our Business Partners, making it possible for our profits to stay at Carillon Elementary. Our successful PTA Business Partnership campaign is allowing our expenses to remain as low as possible. This event is a healthy alternative to traditional fundraising because it promotes active, healthy habits and having fun while supporting our school. The best part of Comet Challenge is teaching our Comets that working together as a community gets big results!

This year we have a goal to help supply our school with updated laptops and computers!

Our fundraising goal is $25,000. At first glance this may seem really high – but we invite you to BELIEVE that this IS possible! We have over 800 students/teachers/staff, so we are asking you to consider helping your student raise $30. If we reach our goal, we will continue to fund the PTA’s annual operating budget and create an emphasis on programs in the areas of Literacy, MATH/STEM and Arts.
